METRON’s Arcam Q10 machine is specifically designed for the manufacture of medical implants. The machine exclusively uses Ti6Al4V Grade 5 and Grade 23 alloy.

Titanium alloys make for an excellent candidate in the production of medical implants. Ti6Al4V is highly biocompatible, saving on expensive coatings; and by utilising mesh structures to promote bone in-growth, we can create customised implants with great success.
